An optimized microbial control treatment program requires a strategy to address each of the three phases: preparing the water, decontaminating the well, and protecting the reservoir.

LANXESS recommends biocides based on the conditions of each phase, considering temperature, salinity, aerobic and anaerobic conditions, and the desired duration of control. Each application is different and requires a tailored program to meet the needs of the specific system.
